The Hotel International au Lac has received two distinguished recognitions that celebrate its historical identity and its continuous family management since 1906.
ICOMOS, the advisory body to UNESCO, honoured the hotel for the preservation and presentation of its historical archive, as well as for the century-long family-run philosophy that guides the establishment.
In 2023, this recognition was further strengthened by the hotel’s excellent ranking in the Neue Zürcher Zeitung (NZZ) rating, which listed it among the finest historic hotels in Switzerland, praising the elegance of its interiors, its period furnishings, and its ability to harmoniously blend history with contemporary comfort.
Together, these distinctions highlight a long-standing commitment to preserving a place where the past remains alive and becomes an authentic and captivating experience for today’s guests.
