LAC Lugano Arte e Cultura is the Arts Centre dedicated to the visual arts, music and the performing arts, which promises to become one of Switzerland’s most important cultural institutions, with the aim of promoting a wide range of art and establishing Lugano as a cultural crossroads between northern and southern Europe.

An augmented reality tour in 3D
The Lugano Tourist Office in collaboration with the Historical Archive of the City of Lugano and the LAC-Shop, have created a new route in augmented reality through the ancient district of Santa Maria degli Angeli, the Franciscan convent, the former Grand Palace Hotel to the LAC Lugano Arte e Cultura cultural center.

Via Nassa is one of Lugano’s historical streets – its particular and sophisticated shops will accompany you in your shopping.
Centenary Museum
In 2006, the Hotel International au Lac celebrated its centenary in style by installing a small museum on the first floor.

The hotel is located in Lugano’s city center at the beginning of the pedestrian area, in the heart of the shopping and financial district and on the lake promenade.
