Museum of the hotel's history, on the 1st floor
A Journey Through the Hotel’s History
To share with guests the historical legacy of a century, Beatrice and Alessandra Schmid set out to explore the archives, storage rooms and attics of the hotel in search of treasures capable of telling—and bringing back to life—one hundred years of achievements, growth and memorable milestones, from 1906 to 2006.
The result of this passionate research is the Centenary Museum: a place where objects, documents, photographs and memories intertwine to recreate a vivid and authentic portrait of the hotel’s past.
The heart of the exhibition is located in the museum room on the first floor, opposite room No. 105, while the visit continues across five floors, guided by historical panels displayed along the main staircase. It is not merely a display of old memorabilia: it invites visitors to discover, step by step, the evolution of the hotel and the family who has cared for it for more than a century.
