Due to the consequences of the Covid-19,
we currently offer a limited choice of self-service drinks;
the light meals menu is suspended until further notice.
Opened in 1999, our "Blues Bar" with its panoramic balcony is the ideal place for an early-evening cocktail or a digestif at the end of the day.
Souvenirs adorn the walls opposite the bar, having been gifted to us by various musicians and singers who have stayed at our hotel. Most were in the area to perform at Lugano's annual summer "Blues to Bop" music festival.
If there comes a time when you would prefer not to explore the local food and wine scene, we will be happy to serve you light meals at the bar in the lobby.

Blues Bar highlights:
Elegantia, Grappa di Merlot di Guido Brivio, Ticino
Robust yet delicate Ticino grappa with a slow, balanced finish. The marc from the Merlot grapes is distilled immediately after drawing off the wine without pressing. Grappa Elegantia is refined and matured in small French oak barrels known as "barriques".
"Birreria San Gottardo" was established in 2009 in Faido in the Leventina district and supplies bars like ours that focus on authentic local specialities. Its "Specialina" is a refreshing, unfiltered beer – a real pleasure.
Glenrothes Speyside Single Malt Whisky
Single cask bottling (only 271 bottles were produced) exclusively for the "Best-3-Star-Hotels of Switzerland" association.
Alongside Macallan, Glenfarclas and Aberlour, Glenrothes embodies the legendary sherried-style Speyside. This malt comes from an ex-bourbon hogshead, which today is both rare and very special indeed.
