The Hotel International au Lac was opened in 1906 and belongs today to Lugano’s historical buildings. Constant renovations and up-grades have made every room unique. Shape, decor and layout varies from one room to the other. Room descriptions and pictures are therefore purely indicative and without obligation.

Economy rooms (single or double)

Traditionally decorated room equipped with air-conditioning, color TV, safety box, direct dial telephone and with private bathroom with bathtub or shower,WC and hairdryer. Single or double room is allocated according to occupancy (1-2 pax).

Standard category double rooms

Twin bedroom equipped with air-conditioning, writing-desk, sitting corner, color TV, radio, safety box and direct dial telephone. Private bathroom with bathtub or shower,WC and hairdryer. There is the possiblitiy to add one extra bed. For rates and conditions kindly refer to the section "Rates".

Superior category double rooms with lake view (minimum stay required)

Superior twin-bedroom with private balcony and lake view, equipped with writing desk, sitting corner, individually controlled air-conditioning, color TV, radio safety box and direct dial telephone. Private bathroom with bathtub or shower, WC and hairdryer.

Standard category single rooms

Single room equipped with air-conditioning, color TV, radio, safety box and direct dial telephone. Private bathroom with bathtub or shower,WC and hairdryer. Most of our standard single rooms have a writing desk.

Superior category single rooms with lake view (minimum stay required)

Superior single bedroom with private balcony and lake view, equipped with writing-desk, comfortable arm-chair, individually controlled air-conditining, color TV, radio, safety box and direct dial telephone. Private bathroom with bathtub or shower, WC and hairdryer.

Junior-suite "terrace" 40 m² , 2-4 persons (minimum stay required)

New modern Junior suite on the sunny terrace by the garden area at the back of the hotel.

The Junior Suite is a spacious individually controlled air-conditioned room with twin beds and additional 2 beds on request. Comfortable sitting corner equipped armchairs, large TV, writing desk, direct dial telephone and safety box. A very special note is given by the double bathroom consisting of two separates areas: one with bathtub and romantic star-sky and the other with shower, WC and hairdryer.
